1) Do you support ending pay-to-play by banning state contractors, including
owners, directors and officers, from making campaign contributions to the
constitutional officer who issues the contracts and oversees the work they
do?
2) Do you support limitations on the amount of money that individuals and
political action committees can contribute to campaign committees?
3) Do you support legislation to prohibit direct campaign contributions by
corporations and labor unions, bringing Illinois in line with regulations of
federal campaigns and the campaign laws in most other states?
4) Should heavily regulated industries, such as gaming interests and utilities,
be prohibited from contributing to campaign committees?
5) Do you support limits on transfers between political committee?
6) Do you support voluntary public funding of campaigns, tied to spending
limits, for candidates for Illinois Appellate and Supreme Court?
7) To preserve the appearance of impartiality in our courts, do you support

whose terms have ended and wish to seek retention? Judges deemed
exemplary by such a commission would automatically be retained until the
next performance review and those judges who do not receive favorable
performance reviews have to, as is the current practice, garner 60% of the
public vote in a retention election in order to stay on the bench.
